School joins Generation Green

Keeping with the Green theme, we have signed up to the Generation Green project for schools provided by British Gas. The aim of the project is to earn 'leaves' by doing green things both in school and at home. Parents can support by completing an Energy Saving report on the British Gas website and donating the 100 leaves to the school. The school can then excchange leaves for green learning resources.

Visit the school's generation green page by clicking here - Generation Green

Home owners can complete an Energy Saving Report which shows you ways of saving energy and money. Don;t forget to donate your leaves to the school! visit the report page by clciking here - British Gas Energy Report

Parent Governor Vacancies

The school is seeking two parents to take on the role of Parent Governor, joining a governing body of 20 volunteers consisting of community, staff, local authority and parent governors. The governing body meets twice a term with some additional committee meetings for different areas. Governors play a vital role in setting the overall direction of the school and ensuring that the children receive the best education on offer.

Please download the letter which sets out the procedure for becoming a governor. For more information visit the governor pages on our website or contact any member of the GB or the Headteacher
